take holy shits
and hail marys
where the floors are lined with piss
and trash
because we can never get drunk enough
to clean (some thirsts cannot be quenched)
lived the seven saints of swoope ave.
and when seven became six
and six turned to five
we packed our dusty bags
and moved to different corners
of the same street
with feet pointed towards our next dead end
now we sleep with our eyes open
because the only dreams we need to see
are the ones we are living.
